Answers:
1. Do you have a Graphic Design Department In-House?
Yes.  We have a highly trained Graphic Design team In-House ready to attend you every design need.  Our Design team has 17 Years of experience in the fields of Graphic Arts, Printing, Screen Printing, Vehicle Graphics, hand illustration and Many other areas on this field, always staying current on new trends and technologies for the industry.

2. What programs do you use to make your designs?
Our Art Department is equipped with  top of the industry  Design software.  We currently use CorelDraw!, Illustrator, In Design, Photoshop, Freehand, QuarkXpress, FlexiSign 7 Pro, Pagemaker, MS Office suite and other proprietary software.

3. What is Vector art?

Vector art is like line art. If you'd put a pen on a piece of paper and draw, the lines would be vector shapes. Circles and squares are simple vector images. Our "knife" blade plotter cuts vinyl film by following the trace of the vector images.

4. What is a Raster Image?
Raster is more of a photograph, with gradients, soft meshes, textures, etc. Not just spot color shapes as described above (vector art). You could not cut out a raster image out of vinyl. Raster images are usually printed as 4 color process prints, such as vehicle wraps.

5. What programs let me save in vector formats?
Adobe Illustrator, Freehand, In Design, and Corel Draw are the major software makers out there, Photoshop can export illustrator paths, and some other programs are also able to export their paths to illustrator file formats.

6. When do I save a raster image, and when do I save as Vector?
Vector is the file format you use when the image is made with paths and fills, It's the only format you can cut vinyl from. Raster would be used for photos, complex images, gradation colors and all other images containing more than two or three colors. Raster images can only be printed.  Vector images can be printed or computer cut.

7. How should I give you my artwork for printing?
The best way to give us your artwork is in .JPG format Actual Size and no less than 100dpi.  Another option is .EPS format Actual Size, bitmaps no less than 100dpi and ALL TEXT converted to curves or outlines.  We also accept most major software files.  Please refer to our
FILE FORMATS section for a more in detail explanation.

8. Do you accept "Zip, Jazz, CDs, or Super Disk" ?
We accept CD's, DVD's and Flash USB Cards.  Sorry we do not accept ZIPs, Floppy's, Jazz or super disk.
9. What's the largest file size I can email you?

14. Why shouldn't I use my web site images for signs?

Well this is a more "In Depth" question than most of the others.  There are many different aspects of why you shouldn't use Web images.  For instance, and I believe it should be the most important one, the COPYRIGHT issue.  Most images on the web actually belong to the owner of the web site were the picture is being displayed, specially with photographs and company logos.
Another aspect is the QUALITY of the image.  Most Web Designers use low resolution images for a faster download/display time on your computer.  Please visit our Raster vs. Vector section for a more detailed explanation of this issue.
15. How long will it take to see my First Proof?
Your first proof should be ready for your revision or approval within 24-48 hrs. (Business Days) from the time  the order was placed.  As soon as your proof is ready, we will contact you either by phone or email and we will proceed from there to start the approval process.  If your proof is not ready within the first 48 hrs (Business Days), we will refund the Graphic Design Fee (if any) and design your project at no cost to you.  Your satisfaction is all that we care about.

16. Can I provide my own artwork when I place an order?

Absolutely.  When you place an order, your sales representative will direct you to one of our Graphic Designers to verify that the artwork that you provided is OK to use for what you are ordering.  We accept most of the File Formats of the industry and should have no problems opening your file.  In the case that we can't open the file, our graphic artist will communicate with your graphic artist to get the most suitable format for our system at no extra cost to you.  For more information on the File Formats the we accept, please click here.

17. How should I save my artwork files?
Vector is the preferred file format. That said, bitmap (raster) format works perfectly for any digitally printed products as long as it meets the criteria we request for a TOP QUALITY product. Please call customer service representative 909.253.0808 if you have any questions, and one of our knowledgeable staff will help you with your artwork.
18. Can you put my logo on any product you offer?
Yes.  All we need is your Logo in  acceptable File Format for our graphic artists to work with.  We prefer Vector Format Files.  Please visit our
Vector vs. Raster Section for more information.

Yes.  Our Graphic Artist are always eager to help you achieve that look that will help you promote your business to a new level.  Not only will they help you on the design, but also on choosing the right colors and layouts to maximize the impact.
There is not set standard fee for Design.  It all depends on time Spent while designing your job.  Our Graphic Artist are very skilled and also know how to best use their time with you reducing the amount of design time thus costing you less.  We never sacrifice QUALITY for PRICE, but we can guarantee your 100% satisfaction when we complete the design.
